Hi, sweeties! I took some time off blogging last week, mostly to fully take in and fully enjoy those first real cold and cozy days we’ve finally been having, AND to focus on learning my lines for the play we’re due to perform in a couple of weeks (fingers crossed!). So that’s one thing I’ve been practicing for lately, and then there’s photography. Now, you have people who love - and are really good at - capturing other people and, well, I just don’t think I’m one of them. Nature photography, on the other hand, is something I’ve always loved looking at so attempting it myself was just a matter of time once I finally got my hands on (the budget for, ha) a decent camera. I absolutely love practicing and spent the majority of our weekend away taking snapshots of every pretty little thing I could find. Posting all of those pictures would be mad, so instead, I picked out 10 favourites I’m quite proud of taking as a greenie. Take a look, tell me what you think and give me tips if you have ‘em!Read More
Another Saturday, another gratuitous pick of one of the two fantastic creatures roaming around this apartment of mine. My little black panther is up today, while he's doing on of his favourite things; stalking the birds and the bees that are outside in the park, imagining all the ways in which he could chase and catch them.
I'm actually in the middle of a dilemma when it comes to this, because I sometimes feel sorry for them that they can't... I'm not keen on letting them outside, because I have a general dislike for the way cars race through the streets around here, and there's no way I can limit my adventurers to the safety of the park. I'd rather they live a long life free of worries, you know?
Q: Do you let your cats out? Any success stories of cats in little walking harnesses? I'd love to know!
